My life has been a tapestry of experiences woven together by one core thread: a profound commitment to human connection.

Born and raised in New York, I embarked on a journey to Los Angeles after graduate school, where I championed LGBTQI+ foster youth by opening the first group home specifically for LGBTQI+ in the San Francisco Bay Area. My dedication to educational rights led me to become a school counselor, working across diverse communities.

Life's adventures took me to Vancouver, BC, Canada, where I deepened my commitment to uplifting marginalized voices as a clinical director at a youth homelessness shelter and discovered my passion for yoga, breath, and meditation. Back in the Bay Area and later in Dallas, TX, I explored connecting with others through the beauty industry despite a career-shortening injury.

Today, I integrate my diverse experiences as a yoga instructor, meditation guide, licensed marriage and family therapist, school counselor, licensed cosmetologist, barber, and social worker. Each role reflects my dedication to fostering genuine human connections, embracing our full selves, and unlocking the potential to live authentically and joyfully.

The journey invites exploration into profound connection, transformation, and holistic well-being. Clients may experience a deepened awareness of themselves and their surroundings, fostering a sense of clarity and inner balance. Clients may experience:

  • Through yoga, meditation, and breathwork, clients have the opportunity to cultivate a deeper sense of calm and balance in their lives. Each practice offers a chance to reconnect with themselves, release tension, and embrace inner peace. With consistency, they can unlock a renewed sense of clarity, resilience, and harmony that extends beyond the mat.

    As the ancient Chinese proverb says, "Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are." This journey is an invitation to step into their true essence and find lasting equilibrium in mind, body, and spirit.

  • With my experience as a therapist, I’ll provide a safe and supportive space for clients to navigate their challenges and aspirations. Through compassionate guidance and personalized strategies, they’ll have the opportunity to gain clarity, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward personal growth.

I am deeply grateful for the teachers in my life. My greatest teachers have always been the most unassuming—at least to me. There’s a kind of connection that happens when I step out of my comfort zone, ask questions, and stay open to the unexpected. Over time, across miles, this openness has led me to some of the most rewarding experiences and relationships.

The profound connections I've built over the years mean everything to me. And yet, deep relationships aren’t always easy—the closer we get to someone, the more opportunity there is for conflict, which I am naturally wired to avoid. But when relationships are rooted in shared passions and a deep commitment to self-understanding—when they inspire us to show up for others in a fuller, more honest way—they become a reflection of what matters most.

Again and again, I find myself returning to my core values: friendship, humor, compassion, honesty, and humility (though not necessarily in that order). These values have shaped the way I learn, connect, and grow, and for that, I am endlessly grateful
